Narida Charanachitta is a well rounded student, excelling across academics, sports, and extracurricular activities where she adeptly manages to balance her diverse commitments. She also goes by Claire. Beyond her already existing array of pursuits, Claire is enthusiastic about exploring new fields and is eager to engage with new experiences to their fullest potential. But most importantly, she also maintains and improves her existing skills. Claire is a determined individual who achieves any goal she sets her mind to.

My Story

Growing up as the first daughter, first niece, and first granddaughter, Claire realized that her position came with both numerous benefits and challenges. A phrase her mum told her that she stands by is “If you are handed opportunities by those around you and everyone is pushing you to your limits, it’s now just up to you if you are going to take action. Do not look back and regret wishing you could have done more when you still had the chance”. As a competitive person, she knew she had to push herself to the limit before even considering saying no.

Currently entering Year 11 at an international school in Thailand, she is preparing for her IGCSE, while also devoting a significant portion of her time to environmental conservation. With her passion for this starting early on in her childhood, she now passionately creates documentaries and writes articles, conducting research to deepen her understanding towards problems affecting both marine and life on land. Her documentary has received worldwide recognition as her latest major achievement was her documentary getting recognized by a film festival in Hawaii, where she was invited there and gave a speech bringing a first prize award back home. In Thailand, Claire attended local schools where she actively engaged in environmental education for students, complementing her ongoing conservation efforts. In addition to her environmental work, Claire is a dedicated swimmer who recently competed in both SEASAC and the Thai National Championships.

She is also honing her skills in debate with aspirations to participate in international competitions in the future. Looking ahead, she has her mind set to go to university in the United States and is continuing to explore her interests to maximize her long-term impact.
